Visit the official OptiFine website Hereįrom the changelog, make a note of the Forge version compatibility. Also, non of my son’s other mods are there at all.As shown in the above video link, the very first thing you need is OptiFine. If I try launching the “OptiFine” from the minecraft launch menu it opens up but there is again nothing in this mod or resource pack menu. If I click the “Open Resource Packs Folder”, I see the “shaders” folder that I unzipped from the “Chocapic13_HightPerformance_Toaster.zip” file. There are no files under the “Available Resource Packs” heading. I then click “Options” menu and click the “Resource Packs” menu. When I launch “Forge” I can see other mods I’ve installed for my son (ex: Engineer’s Door’s) but “Shaders” isn’t in the “MODS” menu (which if I’m reading all these instructions correctly it shouldn’t be, correct?). Under “Installations” I see the “OptiFine” and “Forge”

I then extracted the zip file to the same folder and deleted the zip file. I moved it to “C:\Users\nikol\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks”. Then I downloaded the “Chocapic13_HightPerformance_Toaster.zip” file.

I double click it to install it under the “Versions” folder, successfully. I download OptiFine 1.12.2 jar file and placed it in the “C:\Users\nikol\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions” folder. Need some help for my son’s MineCraft Forge 1.12.2
